Cycle of Love
WLFF aims to provide educational resources to improve the overall experience and quality of education received by underprivileged young people in Nigeria.
On a yearly basis, WLFF identifies a need, such as a community school project, organises a fundraising event and uses the funds raised to effectively provide basic educational resources towards the identified need.
The WLFF Cycle of Love illustrates the way in which WLFF works. Below is a step-by-step account of how we do this with examples and pictures.

WLFF identifies a need
WLFF first heard about the need at Premier Foundation School through a BBC ‘Life in Pictures’ editorial (see link below) and decided to find out more.
WLFF joined forces with another charity, The African Child Development Initiative (The ACDI - http://www.theacdi.org/) to help. ACDI were building a new school for Premier Foundation and WLFF to provide the educational resources.
WLFF organises fundraising event
To start off, WLFF organised the Soul in the City launch event. The aim of this was to provide an introduction to WLFF, share the vision and upcoming projects. Learn More >
The WLFF Grand Ball was held at the Millennium hotel in Kensington in October 2008, raising £6000 money for the Children of Iwaya Book Fund Project !
