The first ever WLFF Grand Ball was held at the Millennium hotel in Kensington in October 2008.  This elegant event saw a vast number of younger Londoners (and some non-Londoners) gathering together in their fineries for one cause … to raise money for the Children of Iwaya Book Fund Project. The WLFF Grand Ball raised £6000 which went towards purchasing basic educational resources and furniture in the newly constructed Premier Foundation School in Iwaya, Lagos (Nigeria).  View Children of Iwaya Project report >
